The American Economic Association (AEA) announced its Award Recipients for 2024. Jean-Charles Rochet, was elected Honorary Foreign Member.
These international honorees of distinction are elected by the American Economic Association's Executive Committee upon recommendation from the Honors and Awards Committee.
Jean-Charles Rochet is Professor of Economics at the Toulouse School of Economics. He has taught at the London School of Economics, MIT Sloan and Geneva. He has visited many universities and central banks all over the world. He was President of the Econometric Society in 2012 and has been a Fellow of this society since 1995. He has published more than 100 articles in international scientific journals and 7 books.
