E.g. 2024: Inspectorate General of Finance
Three expert economists, Alexandre de Cornière, Paul Seabright and Doh-Shin Jeon, presented their latest work and recommendations on ‘Media, well-being and democracy’, ‘Digital economy’ (platforms, ecosystems, regulation, etc.) and ‘AI regulation’, in three sessions during Spring 2024, to the Inspection Générale des Finances as part of the "États généraux de l'information".
Launched at the end of 2023, this initiative "Etats généraux de l'information" comes at a time of upheaval due to the digital revolution that has profoundly transformed the world of information in recent years. This initiative aims to lay the foundations for a new model for the media and digital space, by bringing together professionals, researchers and citizens through five working groups. This consultative process will continue until the summer of 2024, with the aim of formulating concrete proposals to anticipate future developments in the field of information.
