Competition Policy Seminar
Abstract
As society evolves, price coordination comes in new forms. What factors determine enforcement agencies' ability to control the problem? And where do we currently position ourselves in addressing it? This seminar delves into the European law enforcement framework, highlighting specific challenges faced in Norway and drawing insights from research on corporate liability. We will explore the relevance of how coordination is defined by law (in terms of precision and scope), the value of economic analyses (often conducted by external experts, e.g., from TSE), the significance of choosing court procedures versus settlements for enforcement, and my perspective on a promising path forward.
