15-16 January: Conference on Cognitive control and social decision making

Decisions which involve or affect other individuals are influenced by a vast number of implicit beliefs and uncontrolled cognitive processes. Exerting cognitive control amounts to intentionally disrupting these influences. This conference will offer a broad range of perspectives on the role, the importance, the mechanisms and the signatures of cognitive control, especially as it applies to social decision making.
