Abstract
Enhancing agencies’ effectiveness requires a range of strategies to improve their outcomes to the benefit of consumers, firms and the economy as a whole. Such strategies include an efficient institutional design, internal checks-and-balances, case management techniques, retaining internal expertise, using data-driven tools, integrating cooperation networks, among others. This seminar will analyze how management matters to the fulfilment of substantive outcomes by antitrust agencies.
