Jérôme Bolte (TSE-UT1), Shoham Sabach (Technion-Israel Institute of Technology) and Marc Teboulle (Tel Aviv University) have been awarded the 2017 SIAG/Optimization Prize for their paper “Proximal alternating linearized minimization for nonconvex and nonsmooth problems,” published in Mathematical Programming.
The prize is awarded to the authors of the most outstanding paper, on a topic in optimization published in English in a peer-reviewed journal within the four calendar years preceding the year of the award.
