Background and objectives

Building on the workshop held in Brussels last June on the Economics of the Cloud Market, the TSE Digital Center, with the support of Microsoft, organizes this webinar series on the AI stack specifically focusing on the essential resources and tools for building and distributing AI models. This webinar series aims to bring together regulators, industry professionals, and academics academics to explore the economic implications of the development of AI technologies. By fostering discussions among diverse stakeholders, the series seeks to deepen our understanding of AI’s economic landscape and shape the way forward.

Format

  • Participants will include regulators, industry representatives, and academic experts.
  • Participation is by invitation only and requires prior registration.
  • Three sessions will be held before the summer
  • The session will last 75 minutes, with a presentation followed by Q&A.

Manuel Mateo Goyet (Deputy Head of the Cloud and Software Unit at the European Commission) will give a presentation titled "The Economic Foundations of AI Infrastructure: What Do Policymakers Need to Understand?"
